New River Art 2015 now accepting applications
This well known regional juried art exhibition is open for application as of today. Coordinating this event is the Fine Arts Center of the New River Valley (FACNRV), at 21 West Main Street in Pulaski, Va., directed by Judy Ison. All applications are being taken through www.callforentry.org, CAFE for short. This is the second year the biennial has been managed through this site, which provides for all the steps necessary to get from the artist to the walls of a gallery.
The artist must first build a profile on CAFE (for free) and load the photos of the artworks they wish to enter. If you used this site in 2013 for the biennial, you have a head start! Don't be nervous! Even some of our most reluctant artists in 2013 quickly became fans of this application process which facilitates your application to exhibitions all over the country.
BRAA is working closely with FACNRV throughout the biennial process and look forward to reviewing what we know will be a wonderful selection of artwork.
